Although the Organ Academy at Stratford Summer Music was given a short hiatus in 2007 due to a funding issue its popular series of organ concerts moved to 11:15am, and featured fine Canadian performers offering unique glimpses into the little known organist within Canada’s most famous pianist, Glenn Gould, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of his birth and in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of his death.

In June 1947, when he was 14, Glenn Gould presented this concert with the choir of Grace Church-on-the-Hill in Toronto.
